Alex Berman pushed back on the "cold email is dead" genre, saying it has been dead every Tuesday since 2019. His argument: the market punished spray-and-pray, not the motion, and the AI SDR replacement story stalls at enterprise where security teams block unknown senders and procurement wants a human name.
I think they are farming engagement more than booking meetings.
