Christian says Verkada reps book six meetings a day

A teardown of another company's GTM, not a campaign he ran, and the meeting count leans on more than email.

Christian published a breakdown of Verkada's go to market and says its reps book about six meetings a day each, against 1.5 on the old SDR model. He puts the company at $5.8B in value and close to $1B a year in revenue, and says a big part of the machine behind it is cold outbound.

The parts he credits are listed rather than measured. An MDR program, a campaign for every buyer type, a landing page for every prospect, hardware trials, a partner channel and the sales hiring programs. That is the whole of what the post claims, with the detail pushed into his article.

What the number is and is not

This is a teardown of someone else's operation, not a campaign Christian ran and reported on. There is no send volume, no list source, no reply rate and no time period attached to the six a day. There is also nothing in the post about how the figure was arrived at, so treat it as his read on a company he studied rather than a benchmark you can check.

That matters because of what sits under the claim. A landing page per prospect and a hardware trial are not email work, they are an offer and a fulfilment cost. If a rep can put a camera in a building and let a security lead use it, the meeting is being bought with product access, not with a better subject line. The partner channel and the hiring program point the same way, at volume of qualified conversations produced by an org, not by a sequence.

For people sending

The useful piece for an operator is the structure, not the count. A campaign per buyer type is a real and copyable idea, because it forces one offer per audience instead of one email fired at a blended list. A page per prospect is where most teams will stall on cost, and it is also the most likely reason the booking rate is what Christian says it is.

The MDR label is worth a note. Christian calls it an MDR program and contrasts it with the old SDR model, but the post does not define the difference, so anyone planning to copy the org chart is working from a name and nothing else.

Christian is one of the accounts that does post his own raw campaign output, including the building materials campaign he says returned 741 leads. This is not that. Read it as a competitor teardown and hold the six a day at arm's length until someone shows the sends behind it.
