Christian says dials booked 33 of 53 meetings for one client

Same list, two channels, and the phone came out ahead on meetings per touch.

Christian posted a channel split from one client account. For Eden Studio, his team ran 41,150 emails and 32,577 dials against the same market, and he says calling booked 33 of the 53 meetings while accounting for 44% of the touchpoints. He puts that at roughly 987 dials per meeting against 2,058 emails per meeting.

The post frames this against a wider claim, that operators are talking as though cold calling stopped working. Christian says his own numbers say the opposite, and cites 700,000 plus cold calls across 100 plus B2B companies as the base his team works from. The Eden Studio figures are the only per-client split he breaks out.

The show rate argument

The second part of his case is not about booking, it is about whether the meeting happens. Christian says calling a positive reply gets around 90% of meetings to show, compared with around 40% when the prospect self-books off a calendar link. That is the reason he gives for running both channels off the same list for every client rather than picking one.

"The phone also lifts everything email produces."

That line is the actual argument in the post. The dials are not presented as a replacement for email, they are presented as the thing that converts the replies email already generated, plus a separate meeting source on the same data.

How much weight to put on it

This is one client inside an agency that sells cold calling, and the 90% versus 40% show rate is stated without the sample behind it. Neither number comes with a date range, so you cannot tell whether the 41,150 emails and 32,577 dials ran over the same weeks or in sequence, and the post does not say what the offer or the market was. Treat the 987 against 2,058 ratio as Eden Studio's result in Eden Studio's market, not a rate you can forecast against your own list.

For people sending, the useful part is cheaper than the headline. If you are already running email at volume and getting positive replies, the show rate claim says the gap worth closing may be between reply and seat, not between send and reply. A calendar link in the reply is the lowest effort path and, by Christian's account, the one that leaks most. He has published other campaign breakdowns recently, including a building materials campaign he says returned 741 leads with no personalisation, so the pattern is that he posts the raw counts and leaves the extrapolation to you. Do the same here.
