Christian says calling replies gets 9 in 10 meetings to show
Every positive reply goes to a human dialer, and he says the show rate roughly doubles against a calendar link.
Christian (@coldemailchris) says every positive reply in the outbound system he runs for clients goes straight to a person who picks up the phone and calls the prospect, and that the call gets around 9 in 10 of those meetings to show, against around 4 in 10 when the reply is handed a calendar link.
He puts a large part of $70M+ in client pipeline down to that speed. The framing came from a Hormozi story about a business owner who reaches every lead inside 60 seconds and closes 55% of them, which Christian says his own client results back up.
What the claim actually covers
This is one agency's reporting on its own book, not a dataset anyone else can check. There is no breakdown of how many meetings sit behind the 9 in 10 and 4 in 10 figures, no time window, and no split by client or industry. Treat the ratio as a directional claim from the operator running the campaigns rather than a measured benchmark.
What is concrete is the mechanic, and it is cheap to copy. A positive reply is routed to a human immediately instead of into an automated booking flow. Christian lists it as one step in a longer system he says he broke down in full, covering checking a client is a fit, building the list, finding the right people, the sending setup, the messages, the calls, and turning replies into meetings.
Why show rate is the lever
For people sending, this is the part of outbound that does not require more volume or more domains. If a campaign produces the same number of positive replies and the show rate moves from roughly 40% to roughly 90%, the booked and attended meeting count more than doubles without a single extra send. That is also the uncomfortable implication. The constraint on a lot of outbound is not the inbox, it is what happens in the hour after someone says yes.
It sits with Christian's earlier argument that dials outperformed email on the same list, 33 of 53 meetings. Both point the same way, which is that the phone is doing the conversion work and email is doing the sorting.
Every positive reply goes straight to a person, who picks up the phone and calls them.
That call gets around 9/10 meetings to show, against around 4/10 from a calendar link.
